Good custom design is an investment. There are ways to get a cheap logo or website made (and there are times when that’s all you can manage), but we believe Third Lens’ value is in our unique overlap of church/non-profit experience and design expertise. There are no hidden, “starting at…”, costs here. These are straightforward options that will prove valuable in your organization’s work.

Logo Design Process

Our process involves 3 phases:

1)Strategy, where we learn about your organization’s goals, background, and ethos through our Client Questionnaire and conversation.

2)Design & Refine, where we explore design concepts, choose a direction, and refine it to perfection.

3)Application, where we hand off all the files you’ll need for digital and print applications, along with some helpful guides on how to use everything.

Logo Design - $850

You’ll fill out this digital form, giving us lots of details about your organization and what you’re looking for in a logo design. This is an extremely helpful tool in getting to the heart of how you describe your mission and people.

We’ll provide these unfinished designs along with some mockups so you can imagine them in the “real world”. You could take these to your colleagues or committee (if applicable) and get feedback before choosing a direction to proceed.

Once we decide on the concept, we would refine the rough design and present what we’d consider to be a ”finished-quality” version. At this point, we would do two additional rounds of revisions based on your feedback. These would be smaller changes, like a slight tweak of the type choice, or sizing changes.

This will be helpful to ensure that you have consistent logo application across various uses and mediums. We’ll provide the precise colors codes for printing and web use.

We’ll create several versions of the final logo: black & white and color (including inverse layout).

You’ll receive appropriate file types for web and print use in various sizes/layouts, including social media, along with a reference sheet for when to use each file type.

Web Design Process

In some ways, the process for designing and building websites is similar to logo design. There are 4 phases:

1)Strategy, where we learn about your organization’s goals through an initial conversation.

2) Content Creation, where you will develop and collect copy and images for your site.

3)Design & Refine, where Third Lens will build the website and work with you to refine the design.

4)Application, where we publish or help you to publish the website. Included in the cost of each package is a 30-minute training video conference so that you are equipped to update the site on your own.
